Hello, hello, and welcome to the Bighearted Podcast. I am Victoria Edmund, your host. I have to share with you the reason why we are starting this podcast, and it is because we have so much to share. Not only that, but we also want to be able to engage with our community. In a time and a space that suits them the most.
So you can listen to this podcast anywhere, anytime, doing anything that you wanna be doing while you listen. We have some really big goals for this podcast. We wanna help you. Be engaged in what you do. We want to show you different perspectives, different ways to look at things. We're gonna bring you guests that are professionals in other areas of work that have positive, beneficial impacts in what we do as educators with early years.
We are in a really privileged position as early childhood [00:02:00] educators to be shaping the world, and that can't be taken lightly and we have a responsibility to ensure that we are. Looking at ourselves and how we are in the world just as much as the way we are within our education setting. So this podcast is going to be varied.
There's going to be some wild guests that you think, How does that have any kind of relationship to early childhood education? But it will, and hopefully you will be engaged and inspired and, and gonna be so lit up and excited by what you hear, that you'll go out and it will produce change within your service as well.
Thanks so much for joining us. We hope that you will come back every week and if you feel like it, you can leave us some reviews too, where you listen to your podcasts. Anyway, thanks so much for joining us and we will be [00:03:00] bringing you the very first episode very, very soon. Until then, be love. Hi, friend.
Thank you so much for joining us today. I hope you got a lot out of today's episode. When we work on our own, we can sometimes be in a silo, so having new perspectives and different ways of looking at things is vitally important for the growth of our individual selves and our professional selves as well.
We love feedback. So if you felt compelled to share what you thought of today's podcast, we would love to. You can leave us a review on Apple Podcast that helps our podcast to get out to the wider community, and the more that hear what we have to share, we think the better it is. Thanks so much, friend.
We'll see you next time. Till then, big love.
